Now that November is officially here the holiday season is in full effect. Get ready for the Christmas anthems, candy canes, Kwanza candles, and dreidels all in the department stores. One of the hardest task in life during this time of year is shopping for the guys in my life. Yup, even I run into a wall thinking what to get my dad, brothers, and boyfriend.
They say shopping for men is so easy, but that's not quite true. After you give the tie for Father's Day and then the matching pair of socks for his birthday what else can you wrap up and try to surprise him with?

This year make it classic, but yet innovative with a timepiece like a Jord watch. Personally, I love watches, but I too tend to fall into my own traditions. These watches, in particular, are made out of wood, which makes it a unique and cool watch. If I'm being honest I can even send my mother one too. Lord knows she'll have an earful for me if she sees my dad with one and nothing on her wrist.
The one I'm sporting here is called the Frankie Series: Koa & Ash. As I've been making my way around the city I've been stopped a few times and asked, "Where did you get that?" or told, "That looks good on you." Needless to say, this has been a win for my wrist and fashion sense. I would have never thought of getting a wooden watch and I'm glad I have one now. Especially, being a sucker for an ensemble like the one above. (Most importantly I can dress it up and down, which helps with maximizing my closet.)
While you're out shopping this year think outside the traditional boxes and give something both thoughtful and memorable.
