As a kid playing in my mother's closet was a secret and a favorite past time of mine. I had a fascination for garments and piecing them together in my own way. There were no rules or gender specific guidelines to abide. It was just freedom at its finest.
Later in life I found myself coming out of another "closet" and it freed me in a whole new way. A way to be myself and take risk in any form I wanted, but this time it was public. This time it was style.
Fashion may have it rules, but style doesn't. Reflecting back to some selections in college I can cringe at the thought, but I was simply a munchkin finding his way. Today I like to think I found it!
